St. Joan of Arc Catholic H.S.- Girls Flag Football Team
Throughout the fall, our student-athletes have been busy balancing classroom responsibilities and meeting athletic expectations.  Among participating in fun charity events and competitive tournaments, our students-athletes are battling fierce league play on a regular basis.

This week in Catholic School Athletics of Simcoe County, two sports come to a seasonal climax with playoff events taking place for Girls Flag Football and Boys Soccer.  Teams have been ranked based upon their performance in the regular season and will be facing off to determine league champions and GBSSA Championship qualifiers.
In Flag Football, it was the St. Joan of Arc Knights that placed at the top of the Varsity "AAA" division and the St. Joseph's Jaguars that placed first in Varsity "A/AA".  Playoffs get underway on Thursday, October 20 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School.  Click here to view schedule.

In Boys Soccer, the Holy Trinity Tigers finished first at the Junior level as well as at the Senior "AA" level.  At Senior "AAA", it was the Knights who took the top seed.  The quarterfinal and semi-final playoff rounds take place on Tuesday, October 19 at Springwater Tree Nursery with CSASC Championships being hosted by the highest seeded teams who remain on Thursday, October 20.  Click here for full details.

Also taking place this week in Cross Country Running at the secondary school level is the fourth and final Simcoe County invitational race.  This race will take place at Sunnidale Park in Barrie on Wednesday, October 19 at 3:30 p.m.  At the elementary school level, the county cross country running race will occur at Mount St. Louis Moonstone on Tuesday, October 18.  For further information regarding this event, please contact race convenor, Joe Forte at St. Mary's Catholic School in Collingwood,

Additionally, regular league play will resume this week for all CSASC Girls Basketball and Boys Volleyball.

Good luck to all student-athletes who compete this week!
